ACORN branches across the country are taking collective direct action to defend members from evictions, unsafe living conditions and exploitative landlords. This session with ACORN Liverpool will introduce participants to the principles of Member Defence.
We’ll discuss why direct action is necessary, talk through Member Defence tactics, share our experiences of eviction resistance and explore how you can employ Member Defence tactics in struggles within your own communities.
