What does Right to Food mean? We’ll debate local contexts before stepping back and discussing what it means at national and international levels, looking at drivers of the global food system. We’ll also analyse the role of Big Food, its impact on the availability, price and promotion of junk food v healthy food, and what we can do about it.
Ian has been the MP for Liverpool West Derby since 2019 and was the co-founder of Fans Supporting Foodbanks, a community initiative by football fans to tackle food poverty in Liverpool.
