The slogan ‘Woman, Life, Freedom’ coined by the Kurdish Women’s Movement has characterised recent uprisings across Iran, from Kurdistan to Balochistan. This session will adopt a transnational perspective on feminist resistance, looking at struggles in Kurdistan, Iran, Turkey, Afghanistan, and Latin America, and examining the vision that 'Jin, Jiyan, Azadî' presents for a better world.
