The political context has rarely been so stark. Across the political spectrum in Westminster, the impoverishment of millions of people, the dismantling of public services and the catastrophic effects of climate breakdown are greeted with inertia.
But communities are resisting, and The World Transformed is returning to help coordinate the fightback.

They’ll all be at TWT23. Will you?
This October, we’ll bring together activists from these movements and beyond to develop shared political analyses, strengthen links across struggles, and upskill new and old activists alike. We’ve got so many exciting plans for the festival, and we can’t wait to share them with you. For now, get the dates in your diary so you can start planning your stay in Liverpool.
Early-bird tickets for the festival will be available soon, but in the meantime we strongly encourage you to book accommodation as soon as possible as prices are likely to increase over the next few months. We've set up a group so you can self-organise with other attendees and get the best possible deals.
Got an idea for a session at TWT23? The external proposal form for sessions is going live next week.
Going to apply to volunteer at TWT23? Keep your eyes peeled for a volunteer sign up form coming soon - but if you can sort out your own accommodation, we’d strongly recommend doing so in advance! You could fill in the form below to help us accommodate volunteers without somewhere to stay in Liverpool, and increase the chance we can accept your volunteer application.Â
