Liverpool’s Collective Encounters invites you to join the Cost of Living Cabaret: a place to make our voices heard about the life we deserve.

If you’d like to write or sing songs and poems, perform in sketches, or just have a rant about current events, you can become part of the cabaret troupe. You’ll need to commit to rehearsals throughout the afternoon, up to and including the performance at 5:30pm.

What to bring with you: musical instruments (if you have them); a notepad and pen; any objects that represent the ‘cost of living’ for you; a healthy amount of anger and an appetite for action.

Organisations

Collective Encounters is a professional arts organisation specialising in theatre for social change through collaborative practice. We use theatre to engage those on the margins of society, telling untold stories and tackling the local, national and international concerns of our time
