Two powerful grassroots movements are shaking Serbia - huge student protests confronting the authoritarian, corrupt regime, and activists pushing back against the EU's push for lithium extraction in the name of "Green" transformation.

The session will introduce both movements, and ask: What are the demands, strategies, and tools of student-led protests? How are environmental activists resisting Rio Tinto's massive EU-backed mining projects? What can we learn from the movements' radical democratic structures, and how can we strengthen international solidarity with their struggle?
